Cecilia Haidar grew up in the country with a mother that was naturally talented with gardening and farming, and a father that was a business entrepreneur.

Early in life she was drawn towards the creative industries and found high-end fashion to be her calling. Her years in sales and consultancy taught her the importance of communication and working closely with clients. When she moved out of the big city life she felt her roots in the country was still firmly grounded in her. It was no better time than now to rediscover nature so she entered a post-graduate course and became a certified gardener.

Having worked with colour and shapes in fashion she found her creative ideas in the perfect setting in garden design. With passionate knowledge of plants she now contributes to the mission of making more spaces green, implementing sustainable solutions and produce more biological diversity, be it gardens, roofs, balconies or walls.

She founded Green View Studios as a platform to offer services as well as share stories and experiences while pursuing a profession and lifestyle she believes to be both physically and mentally healing. She believes that being in touch with nature can help us manage the stress from our urbanised and technology dependent lifestyles. The showgarden on the post graduate course embodies this belief and was a highly appreciated installation in 2021.
